PIT Operators

Join GXO Logistics as a PIT (forklift) Operator supporting high volume warehouse operations in the transportation and warehousing industry. You will safely operate powered industrial trucks to load, unload, move and stage freight while following all OSHA and GXO safety procedures. Responsibilities include performing equipment inspections, scanning and tracking inventory with RF devices, accurately picking and put away, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate PIT and forklifts to load, unload, move and stage freight
• Perform pre and post operation equipment inspections and report issues
• Accurately pick, put away and replenish inventory per work orders
• Use RF scanners or warehouse systems to track and update inventory
• Follow OSHA, GXO safety rules and standard operating procedures
• Maintain clean, organized, hazard free warehouse aisles and docks
• Coordinate with supervisors, truck drivers and teammates on priorities
• Meet productivity, accuracy and quality targets for warehouse tasks
• Handle pallets, shrink wrap, labeling and basic packaging as needed
• Support continuous improvement and follow instructions from leads
