Shop Mechanic

This position is for a year‑round Shop Mechanic, who is a self‑starter and can perform services on a scheduled basis and repairs as needed. This is an opportunity for a well‑rounded Mechanic capable of servicing fleet and small engine equipment. You need to be a mechanically inclined individual who excels at keeping things operating at peak performance.

Maintenance Mechanic service technicians with at least 5 years experience need only apply.

Our fleet includes over 35 trucks and trailers, as well as 100‑plus pieces of small equipment that require servicing on a scheduled basis and repairs as needed. You will be responsible for maintenance and repair of small power equipment to include cutoff saws, chainsaws, scag mowers, aerators, 4‑stroke and 2‑cycle engines. Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing passenger cars, pickup trucks, 1‑ton gas and diesel trucks, as well as medium‑duty equipment such as Skid loaders, Excavator (12,000 lbs), Vibratory Plow / Trencher, and tow‑behind air compressors.

Other expected duties to perform include troubleshooting electrical problems, changing tires, light welding and shop and yard maintenance. It is a PLUS if you are bilingual in English and Spanish.
