Position Details:
Driver pay is $2400 biweekly;
Drivers can earn $65,000+ per year. Shift is Monday to Friday with a 3:00am – 6:00am dispatch time.

Position

Purpose:

The Driver - SCM is responsible for driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and unload food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner, in accordance with DOT regulations. Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally and performs duties to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections of tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations; ensure safety standards are met and take action as needed.
• Report safety issues and repairs; follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight; report hazards.
• Complete required paperwork associated with freight and check customer invoices.
• Drive to delivery locations and unload freight as per schedule; secure trailer doors.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; collect money where required.
• Ensure equipment is secured; perform daily housekeeping duties in tractor and dock areas.
• Complete daily hours of service logs as required by DOT and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• 12+ months commercial tractor/trailer experience
• Valid CDL-A; 21+ years of age
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass post-offer drug test and road test
• DOT Health Card current or ability to secure one
• Ability to lift and move freight up to 90 pounds; equipment to move freight as required

Pro Drivers Automotive Group is hiring for local at-home-daily positions out of the Memphis, TN area. Home every day and weekends off (some Saturdays possible). No touch freight. Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 9 months CDL A tractor-trailer experience
• Acceptable MVR/Accident history
