Powder River Energy Corporation (PRECorp) is a member-owned electric cooperative serving more than 12,000 members across northeastern Wyoming. We are seeking a talented Senior Accountant who wants to play an important role in supporting the financial strength of an organization dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and affordable electric service to the communities we serve.

The Senior Accountant performs advanced accounting and financial reporting activities, assists with budgeting and forecasting processes, prepares financial analyses for management, supports audits and regulatory reporting requirements, and helps maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to provide timely, accurate, and meaningful financial information that supports sound business decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible accounting or finance experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Electric utility, cooperative, or related industry accounting experience.
• Two to three years of supervisory or leadership experience.
