Vehicle Acquisition Specialist

The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist’s main responsibility is to acquire customer vehicles for the dealership, managing the entire “We’ll Buy Your Car” process, from lead response to payment.

• Respond to incoming leads via Auto Nation and third‑party platforms, phone, internet, and walk‑in traffic.
• Identify and engage private parties looking to sell their vehicles.
• Set up appointments for vehicle appraisals at the dealership.
• Execute the Auto Nation “We’ll Buy Your Car” same‑day payment process.
• Review vehicle condition reports and inspect vehicles onsite.
• Maintain customer communication throughout the process, both in person and by phone.
• Refer customers who prefer trade‑ins to the sales team.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extremely self‑motivated with a strong drive to meet targets.
• Excellent communication, prospecting, and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and follow‑up skills.
• Valid in‑state driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Experience or willingness to work with technology.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer experience and make offers on vehicles using sound judgment.

• Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.

• Hourly base pay with bonus for each vehicle purchased.
