We're looking for a motivated, self-starter to join our award-winning news team as an Sports Reporte (Multi Media Journalist). This is a terrific opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow in the broadcast industry without the high-stakes presser of a larger market.

KCWY-TV is the dominant news source for the Casper market and serves as a partner alongside KGWN Cheyenne-Scottsbluff. Located in central Wyoming, Casper is in the perfect location to enjoy skiing, camping, hiking, and just about anything outdoors you can imagine. Filled with great breweries, museums, fly fishing holes, and local shopping, it's got something for everyone. With stations in Casper, Cheyenne, and Scottsbluff, NE we are focused on telling local stories that matter while remaining dominant both on broadcast and digital.

• Perform regular duties of a Sports/News reporter, from developing story ideas to shooting, editing, and going live, as well as posting on digital and social platforms with an emphasis on covering local sports
• Meet tight daily deadlines for broadcast while posting web content that is original and fresh in a timely manner
• Report live from various sporting events as needed
• Knowledge of non-linear video editing programs is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility in scheduling, to respond to the changing news landscape

• A degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Link to a demo reel required
• Valid Driver's License required
