Location: Wilson

A well-established school district in Wilson, WY, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support students' academic and emotional development. This role involves working closely with educators, parents, and support staff to provide comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions tailored to diverse student needs. The position includes opportunities for travel within the district to various school sites, fostering a broad impact across multiple learning environments.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psycho educational evaluations and interpret assessment results
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and offer recommendations for accommodations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to behavioral intervention planning
  • Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting assessments and delivering interventions in school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Ability to travel between multiple schools within the district
  • Knowledge of special education laws and best practices
