Special Education Paraprofessionals with Possible Apprenticeship
Shoshoni Schools is seeking a caring and committed Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with diverse learning needs in a 712 setting for the school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by working closely with students and teachers to foster academic success and social-emotional growth. An apprenticeship opportunity may be available for candidates who meet specific criteria.
Key Responsibilities
* Support implementation of IEP goals under teacher supervision
* Provide individualized or small group instruction
* Assist with behavior support and classroom management
* Foster peer interaction and engagement
* Collaborate with staff to promote student success
* Maintain a positive, supportive classroom presence
Schedule & Compensation
* Hours:
* Mon Thu: 7:40 AM 3:40 PM
* Fri: 7:40 AM 1:40 PM
* Term: 9-month position (August May)
* Pay: $17.00 $ 21.42/hour (DOE)

Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to obtain a Substitute Permit
* Must pass a background check
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Patience, flexibility, and passion for student support
* Dependable and reliable work ethic
* CPR/First Aid/AED Certification (or willingness to obtain)
