Position Description
Capstone Classical Academy is seeking a first-grade teacher who loves the Lord and finds joy in the wonder of young children. We are looking for an individual who can lead a classroom with grace, order, and cultivate wisdom and virtue in our young Learners.
Key ResponsibilitiesCultivate Wonder:
Teach phonics, math, and history through the lens of God’s truth.Lead by Example:
Model a life of virtue, guiding students’ hearts toward what is Good, True, and Beautiful.Master the Grammar Stage:
Use songs, poems, and stories to help students build a strong foundational knowledge.
A Faithful Disciple: A committed Christian who is active in their local church.
A Lifelong Learner:
Someone who appreciates the Great Books and the classical model of education.An Orderly Leader: A teacher who can manage a classroom with gentle authority and high expectations.
Bachelor’s degree.
Previous experience in a classical or private school setting is a plus.
