Special Education Paraprofessionals with Possible Tuition Reimbursement

Shoshoni Schools setting for the  school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by working closely with students and teachers to foster academic success and social-emotional growth. A tuition reimbursement opportunity may be available for candidates who meet specific criteria.

Key Responsibilities

* Support implementation of IEP goals under teacher supervision

* Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to support students with their academic work.

* Collaborate with staff to promote student success

* Facilitate student participation in classroom activities and encourage social interaction with peers.

* Communicate effectively with teachers and other school staff to ensure a collaborative approach to student success.

* Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude that fosters a love of learning.

Schedule & Compensation

* Hours:

* Mon Thu: 7:40 AM 3:40 PM

* Fri: 7:40 AM 1:40 PM

* Term: 9-month position (August May)

* Pay: $17.00 $ 21.42/hour (DOE)

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Ability to obtain a Substitute Permit

* Must pass a background check

* Strong communication and collaboration skills

* Patience, flexibility, and passion for student support

* Dependable and reliable work ethic

* CPR/First Aid/AED Certification (or willingness to obtain)
