Special Education Paraprofessionals with Possible Tuition Reimbursement

Shoshoni Schools setting for the  school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by working closely with students and teachers to foster academic success and social-emotional growth. A tuition reimbursement opportunity may be available for candidates who meet specific criteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support implementation of IEP goals under teacher supervision
  • Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to support students with their academic work.
  • Collaborate with staff to promote student success
  • Facilitate student participation in classroom activities and encourage social interaction with peers.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and other school staff to ensure a collaborative approach to student success.
  • Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude that fosters a love of learning.
Schedule & Compensation
  • Hours:
    • Mon Thu: 7:40 AM - 3:40 PM
    • Fri: 7:40 AM - 1:40 PM
  • Term: 9-month position (August May)
  • Pay: $17.00 - $21.42/hour (DOE)

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a Substitute Permit
  • Must pass a background check
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Patience, flexibility, and passion for student support
  • Dependable and reliable work ethic
  • CPR/First Aid/AED Certification (or willingness to obtain)
