Preschool Lead
FCSD#24 has an opening for Preschool Lead. We have been given a beautiful opportunity to support young children's very first experience with school. The work in the early childhood classroom sets the tone for a child's lifelong educational success. Our core goals:
Collaborate for a Nurturing Environment: Bring love, grace, and support to the students and the adults in our room. Collaborate in a team to ensure high-quality early learning experiences for all children.
Holistic Development: Ensure daily interactions that support each individual child's needs, fostering their academic, social, emotional, and physical growth in a safe space.
Daily Intentionality: Tackle each day with purpose, patience, and perseverance.
Qualifications:
- Current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required, or ability to obtain the credential within one (1) year of hire date (or an Associate/Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field).
- Active enrollment in the Wyoming STARS Registry (or willingness to register), or appropriate PTSB training.
- Maintenance of current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Must pass mandatory criminal justice fingerprinting, background checks, and Central Registry clearances.
- Deep awareness of, or direct experience applying, the Wyoming Early Learning Standards and Wyoming's Coherent Path to Quality framework.
- Solid understanding and application of the Wyoming Department of Family Services (DFS) Child Care Center Licensing Rules.
- Proven experience leading a full-day classroom for children ages 3-5 preferred.
- High emotional intelligence, strong collaborative spirit, and a deep well of patience, grace, and perseverance for both children and peers.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in matters of student, parent, and staff information.
10-Month Position:
August-May Benefitted Position. Rate of Pay: $23.00 - $27.42 depending on experience.
