Job Title

At the confluence of the Ariège and Garonne rivers, between city and village, located at the gates of Toulouse, Portet-sur-Garonne is an inviting and dynamic community of life. Within the Sports-Youth Service, you will work on the CLAS (Local Contract for Support to Schooling) and participate in the academic and educational support of students from CM1 to 3ème as well as their families, in order to promote their academic success and personal development.

The CLAS is a support system for educational success aimed at young people and their families. It aims to strengthen the autonomy of young people in their learning, support parenting, and promote cultural and civic openness.

- Provide methodological help for school work
- Motivate and encourage young people in their work
- Participate in the individual follow-up of young people accompanied
- Help young people acquire methods, approaches, and relationships facilitating access to knowledge
- Support and accompany families in their parental role, in order to promote an environment conducive to academic success and social development of their children
- The facilitator will be in contact with the young people's environment in the context of meetings with families and teachers
- Contribute to the implementation of educational, cultural, or civic actions in connection with the CLAS system
- Participate in the evaluation and review of the CLAS system

• School level allowing academic support of the target audience (minimum Bac level or significant experience in academic support, animation or education)
• The BAFA is a plus as well as a good general culture and mastery of the French language (written and oral)
• First professional experience with an adolescent audience
• Ability to accompany parents in their relations with school institutions and in their educational role
• Being attentive, available and patient
• Having a good sense of observation and relationship skills
• Ability to animate educational workshops
• Ability to help with school work (up to college level, 3ème general)
• Discretion, confidentiality and educational skills are indispensable qualities to properly carry out these missions
• Sense of public service
• Driving license B preferred

Job Information:
• Annualized working time (505 hours per year, from September 1 to August 31)

Hours:

• School periods: 369 fixed hours in face-to-face pedagogy (Monday 5:30 PM-7:30 PM and Tuesday Thursday and Friday 4:15 PM-7:15 PM) 36 hours in the context of weekly team meetings (Monday 4:30 PM-5:30 PM) 40 hours of meeting at the start and end of the year (follow-up of families, parentality actions, links with school institutions, preparation of projects…)
• School vacation periods: internships at the rate of 60 hours/year
• Contract from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027
