Job Description:

Qualifications:

1. Must satisfy all Wyoming regulations for eligibility and teacher certification.
2. Such other qualifications as the Board may find appropriate. Terms of Employment:
The Teacher, under normal circumstances, will be elected by the Board no later than April 15. Contract/Extra Duty terms shall be established by the Board. Salary and fringe benefits shall be as adopted by the Board for certified staff.

Provide the instruction necessary to empower all students to succeed in a changing world, as outlined in the District's Mission Statement.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Implement the instructional program according to Board policy.
2. Provide instruction to students in the curricular performance standards (outcomes) and provide correctives and enrichments as appropriate. 3. Be familiar with and follow all District and building rules, policies, and procedures.
4. Provide a nurturing and safe learning environment. Support and assist in maintaining order and discipline.
5. Accurately prepare and submit all required reports.
6. Report any serious accident, illness, or suspected harassment or abuse affecting any student.
7. Attend staff meetings, participate in District and building curriculum and in service programs as directed by the Principal. 8. Be prepared for daily lessons and provide lesson plans when requested by the Principal.
9. Participate in the selection of instructional materials. 10. Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and ethics. 11. Maintain appropriate confidentiality when entrusted with privileged information. 12. Communicate with Assigned Administrator on a regular basis. Other
