5th Grade Elementary Teacher (Full-Time)

Liberty Classical Academy is a Christ-centered, classical Preschool–12th grade private school with campuses in White Bear Lake and Hugo, Minnesota. We are seeking a knowledgeable, organized, and mission-driven 5th Grade Teacher to join our faculty at the White Bear Lake campus.

This full-time role is ideal for an educator who loves working with upper elementary students and is passionate about building strong academic foundations while cultivating character and a love of learning. The 5th Grade Teacher plays a vital role in preparing students for the transition into middle school through structured instruction, intentional formation, and encouragement.

Liberty Classical Academy – White Bear Lake Campus (White Bear Lake, MN)

• Lead a 5th grade classroom, providing daily instruction across core subject areas
• Teach core subjects including language arts, mathematics, and other assigned content areas
• Build strong foundations in reading, writing, grammar, and critical thinking
• Incorporate principles of classical education, including an emphasis on language development, content mastery, and ordered learning
• Integrate a Christian worldview into all areas of instruction
• Develop and implement thoughtful lesson plans that support student growth and mastery
• Assess student progress regularly and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Maintain a structured, orderly, and positive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and expectations
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
• Contribute to the life of the school through homeroom leadership, student supervision, and faculty collaboration

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field required
• Teaching experience preferred
• Experience or interest in classical education strongly preferred
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to cultivate both academic excellence and Christian character
• Commitment to a Christ-centered educational philosophy and agreement with Liberty’s Statement of Faith

Salary:
Starting at $42,000+, based on education and experience
