TECHNICIAN – Operations and Maintenance Job Midwest Wyoming USA,Energy/Power Generation

The Solar Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Technician 3 is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of solar energy systems. This role involves regular inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of solar panels, inverters, and other system components to ensure that solar energy systems are operating at peak performance. Technicians may also be involved in system installations, commissioning, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor equipment operations to maintain efficiency and safety.
Work independently to troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on solar sites.
Commission Utility sites with assistance of Technician level 4.
Complete necessary client documentation and submit to Operations.
Perform IR scans and IV curve trace.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements Education:

High School Diploma:
Required

Preferred experience and/or training:

IV Curve Analysis
Electrical Apprentice
Equipment Certifications
NABCEP Commissioning and Maintenance

Required Licenses/Certificates:

Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
OSHA 30
Minimum of 2 years of Solar Maintenance experience.
