Bechtel is the licensing, engineering, procurement, and construction partner on Terra Power's Natrium team. Selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for its Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program, Natrium is participating in a DOE initiative to re‑establish U.S. leadership in nuclear energy that provides matching funding to industry to design and build an operational advanced reactor. Terra Power, a leading advanced generation technology company founded by former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, will be deploying its 345 MWe sodium fast reactor (SFR), called Natrium.

The Natrium plant features an advanced, cost‑competitive reactor design that is safer, simpler, easier, less costly to construct, less expensive to operate, and able to provide energy that is competitive with fossil fuels. It also features an innovative molten salt energy storage system designed to be complementary to solar and wind power by evening out the peaks and valleys in production when the sun is not shining, or the wind is not blowing.

With the reactor and energy storage output combined, the plant can produce more than 500 MWe of power.

In this role, you will lead a team and supervise Superintendents/ Site Supervision, Field engineering, other support organizations (Safety, Quality, Project Controls, etc.) on project to support work execution to meet budget and schedule. You will direct coordinate craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules, and budgets.

This position will be assigned to the Kemmerer Training Center Area. This position will be assigned to the Kemmerer Training Center. You will be responsible for coordination and schedule management of the construction of the Training Center build and fit out ready for turnover to the owner/operator. #LI-LM1

Leadership / Supervision

• Supervises and coordinates craft activities, subordinate superintendents, and others, as assigned. (Direct Hire)
• Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft. (Direct Hire)
• Management and supervision of Subcontractors.

Planning / Productivity

• Manages project cost and schedule performance.
• Determines workforce requirements.
• Coordinates established area operational plans.

Tools, Materials & Equipment

• Oversees tool and equipment usage on the site.
• Manages the preparation of Field Material Requisition s for tools and consumables and ensures that the craft professionals have the tools they require to be productive.
• Coordinates with Procurement and Project Controls teams to ensure supply of equipment and materials meets project schedule.

Safety & Quality

• Champion of the requirements of the Bechtel Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) Core Processes and Bechtel's "Zero Accidents"…
