Job SummaryThe Reliability Engineering Manager is a key technical role responsible for ensuring the reliability, durability, and performance of Mesa’s power generation equipment throughout its lifecycle. This position focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating reliability risks across design, manufacturing, supplier quality, testing, and field operation environments where failure can result in significant operational, safety, or financial impact.
This role leads reliability analysis, failure investigation, and corrective action efforts to prevent repeat failures and improve long-term product performance. The Reliability Engineer II works closely with Failure Analysis Engineering, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Field Service to translate reliability data into actionable improvements in design robustness, process capability, and supplier performance. The position requires strong engineering judgment, hands-on analytical capability, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Success in this role is measured by reduced field failures, improved first-pass yield, stronger corrective action effectiveness, and increased confidence in product performance at customer sites.
