Performs a variety of officer duties for the Natrona County Detention Center.
A qualified candidate must be a United States citizen, 21 years of age, have a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, pass a background check and psychological exam, have no marijuana use within one year of applying, no illicit drug use (cocaine, methamphetamine, LSD, etc.) within the last five years, no prior felony convictions, be legally qualified to possess a firearm, and be of good moral character.
Detention Deputies are required to successfully complete the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy as well as field training within 12 months of hire.
