About the Role
Warm Valley Health Care is seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Behavioral Health Department. This position provides psychotherapy and support services to patients of all ages and clinical backgrounds, working within an integrated care team. The role also includes outreach, education, and collaboration with tribal entities, schools, and community partners to support mental health and wellness on the Wind River Reservation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation.
- Conduct intake evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with WVHC behavioral health staff, medical providers, schools, and community partners.
- Participate in case staffing, outreach events, and quality improvement activities.
- Uphold ethical, professional, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, FERPA, state licensure).
Required
- Master s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
- Active Wyoming license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
- Experience with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and diverse populations.
- Training in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, TF-CBT).
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
Preferred
- Experience in tribal health, rural health, or community mental health.
- Bilingual ability (English and local Native languages).
- Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth platforms.
