Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Full-Time Position. Pay Range: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour (DOE).

- Apply skills learned during academic training, educational programs, and practical experience to treat patient/family needs.
- Demonstrate competency in implementation of treatment plans, document appropriately, evaluate effectiveness of plan and modify as indicated, following consultation with the Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills when interacting with families, physicians, patients and others involved in a patient's care to promote an environment of cooperation and respect.
- Provide appropriate information at meetings such as team and family conferences, home health conferences, rehab clinic meetings and others as necessary.
- Maintain current knowledge of therapy techniques appropriate to the patients at Gottsche Rehab Center through attendance of in-service classes and the appropriate amount of continuing education as required by state licensure.
- Assist in appropriate treatments or portions thereof, assess the accuracy, thoroughness and appropriateness of the care you provide and then provide feedback to the Department Head.
- Seek necessary information and input from staff, physicians and other health care professionals to ensure ongoing appropriate patient care.
- Have knowledge in the use of therapy devices including exercise tables, fitness equipment, assistive devices, wheelchairs, pulleys, weights and other equipment common to the practice of physical therapy.
