About the Role
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you’ll perform a wide variety of imaging procedures to produce diagnostic‑quality images. This role requires independent judgment, technical skill, and a commitment to patient care while upholding Star Valley Health’s mission and values, to provide compassionate care to every person, every time.

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, including Doppler vascular and abdominal studies
• Assist physicians with biopsies and invasive ultrasound procedures
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment; calibrate and clean instruments
• Evaluate image quality and process images per protocol
• Maintain accurate records and compile data as required
• Provide guidance to students and new staff
• Comply with HIPAA and all federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound technology program
• Registered or registry‑eligible with ARDMS
• Current BLS certification (or obtain within 3 months of hire)
• Additional certifications (vascular, cardiac echo) preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment and maintain confidentiality
