Position Summary:

Assist the Activity Coordinator in providing activity programs for all residents, responsible for helping with physical, educational, or social activities in a variety of settings. Duties will revolve around assisting residents or patients with use of equipment, and planning and monitoring their participation in various activities and outings.

• Assists the Activity Coordinator in the planning, development, and implementation of activities/programs which enrich the lives of the residents.
• Develop and lead small, medium and large group activities.
• Contribute to residents' care planning: assessments, care plan goals and approaches, and progress notes.
• Assist with documentation.
• Conduct one-to-one programs.
• Assist with field trips and outings, which may require the operation of a company vehicle.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED
• To obtain CPR and First Aid Certificates within 6 months of employment
• Current driver's license (must be 21 years of age due to CCMSD insurance policy stipulations)
• To obtain WY CNA License within 6 months of employment

Previous experience in a long term care setting preferred.

• Excellent patient care skills.
• Professional and discrete manner at all times.
• Ability to communicate effectively and verbally as well as the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and with supervision.
• Good driving record and ability to drive safely in various weather conditions.

40 hours per week, rotating holidays, every other weekend
