Patient Access Specialist

Crook County Medical Services District is currently seeking a Part-Time Patient Access Specialist position for the Sundance Clinic. This position is responsible for scheduling patient appointments to maintain a steady flow for health care providers.

• Must be able to work well with the public
• Registering patients- ER/Outpatients and Clinics
• Answering phones in a timely and professional manner
• Keeping medical records up to date
• Logging of daily payments
• Filling out outpatient sheets when necessary
• Collection of cash payments as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum age of 16 years old
• High School Diploma or GED required

• Previous receptionist experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred but not required.

• Demonstrates discretion and professionalism at all times.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This will be a part-time position, and the schedule will vary based on clinic needs.
