The Patient Care Assistant position is part of theMed/Surg Department and is acontingent role workingapprox.. 12 hours per two-week pay period. Theworking shifts will either be 76:45am-7:15pm or 6:45pm-7:15am.

This position includes weekend and holiday responsibilities

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Hospital experience and departmental experience preferred

• Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, and professionalism

• Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and commitment to customer service

• Team-oriented with a focus on providing seamless patient care

• Perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services to support patient comfort and personal needs

• Use a systematic approach to assess patient needs and collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff

• Promote teamwork and maintain adherence to all departmental standards

• Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment
