GENERAL:

In accordance with the Hot Springs Health Personnel Policy and Procedure Manual and the requirements of our accrediting bodies, the employee will: support the mission “Partnering with our community for quality health and healing”, the five core values “O A S I S”. POSITION STATUS:

This position is a full time, Non-Exempt, hybrid position. Generally expected to work 5 days a week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer telephone in a prompt and courteous manner, consistently demonstrating good telephone skills and etiquette.
  • Schedule patient appointments, coordinating the times to best meet the needs of the patient and provider.
  • Accurately enters new patient information in the computer system.
  • Accurately updates established patient information in the computer system.
  • Obtains and verifies all insurance information for patient appointments.
  • Makes every effort to determine accurate reason for patient visit in order to schedule the correct amount of time needed.
  • Cooperates and communicates with the Medical Staff.
  • Schedule hospital and ED follow up visits.
  • Schedule physicians for Stress tests, MEST, and Lexi scan tests.
