Location: Lusk
The Travel CT Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic images, requiring a skilled professional to integrate quickly into diverse healthcare settings while maintaining high standards of patient care and radiation safety.
Requirements- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT (R) and (CT) certification, plus current State Licensure (if required) and BLS.
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent acute care hospital experience as a CT Technologist.
- Proficiency in a wide range of CT examinations, including IV contrast administration.
- Expertly operate CT equipment for image acquisition, reconstruction, and post-processing.
- Perform a comprehensive range of CT examinations.
- Adhere to ALARA principles and all radiation safety protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety through effective positioning, instruction, and monitoring.
- Assess patient conditions and adjust protocols to optimize image quality and outcomes.
Travelers should be prepared for quick integration into new teams and varying facility protocols, adhering to all local compliance requirements.
