Housekeeper Position Overview
The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that all homes located at Jackson Fork Ranch are kept impeccably clean, welcoming, and presentable for owners and guests. This is a highly physical, independent role that requires someone who takes quiet pride in a job done right and possesses a keen eye for detail. In addition to maintaining the ranch homes, this role acts as the vital operational link to Pinedale, coordinating with the White Pine Adventure Inn to manage and process the ranch’s laundry.
Jackson Fork Ranch is part of a close-knit, independent mountain operation where every team member matters and no task is beneath anyone.
- Perform deep cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitation of all residential homes and guest properties located at Jackson Fork Ranch.
- Prepare and stage guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common living areas to luxury standards prior to arrival.
- Restock consumables across all properties — including paper products, soaps, linens, and related guest supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, notifying management when resupply orders are needed.
- Strip, collect, and sort used linens, towels, and bedding from all ranch properties.
- Coordinate directly with the White Pine Adventure Inn in Pinedale to transport, wash, fold, and return clean laundry to the ranch efficiently.
- Inspect all linens for stains or damage, ensuring only pristine items are returned to service.
- Work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision, managing time effectively across multiple ranch properties.
- Interact with ranch owners and guests in a friendly, professional manner — you are a direct representative of the ranch.
- Log any facility hazards, damages, maintenance needs, or appliance issues promptly so they can be actioned by the team.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Assist with additional tasks as directed by management to support broader ranch and hospitality operations.
- Reliable, self-directed work ethic with the ability to maintain exceptionally high cleaning standards without close supervision.
- Physical ability to perform heavy housekeeping duties for extended periods, including lifting up to 30 lbs, walking stairs, bending, kneeling, and carrying laundry bundles.
- Flexible availability to accommodate ranch guest schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak operational periods.
- Valid Driver’s License:
Required for traveling between the JFR properties. - Insurable:
Must be insurable under Hugo Wyoming Management vehicle policies. - Reliable winter transportation capable of navigating mountain roads between Jackson Fork Ranch and Pinedale.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Prior professional housekeeping, high-end hospitality, or luxury residential cleaning experience.
- Familiarity with proper cleaning products, delicate surface care, and strict sanitation standards.
- Position Type:
Seasonal/Year-Round Flexible (adjust based on your operational reality — e.g., seasonal winter/summer position with flexible hours based on ranch occupancy and private events). - Compensation:
Competitive wage based on experience. - Reports to:
General Manager / Property Manager.

This role involves physical work across multiple homes on the ranch, requiring frequent movement, standing, bending, and lifting. Travel between the ranch and the White Pine Adventure Inn in Pinedale is required for laundry coordination, occasionally in adverse winter driving conditions. The pace varies from steady to fast depending on guest arrivals, departures, and private events.
