Job Summary

You are expected to adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety. You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them. Receives, washes, dries, irons or otherwise prepares for delivery all dirty linen, towels, rugs and bedspreads sent to Jackson Lake Lodge laundry, according to established procedures.

Laundry workers fill specific job positions on a rotating basis, such as Dryer Operator, Shaker Sorter, Ironer, Feeder and Catcher, load, unload dryers, etc.

Job Responsibilities
  • Places wet towels, rugs, bedspreads in dryer, then sorts and folds when dry.
  • Separates clean linen and prepares material for the flatwork ironer.
  • Attends the flatwork ironer and feeds prepared work in, or catches, folds, and stacks work on the receiving side.
  • Presses uniforms and other items as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Prior laundry experience desirable.
  • Good judgment, manual dexterity.
  • Indoor work only.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and noise.
  • Use of laundry machines.
  • Holidays/Weekends/Evenings required based on business need.

  • You must be committed to working in partnership with the National Park Service and community organizations to enhance our guests’ experiences. Our goal is to receive only fours and fives on the five point rating scale used by the NPS.
