Laundry Attendant - Greenport, NY

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and processing of hotel linen and terry. The ideal candidate is friendly, efficient, and attentive to details, contributing to the overall guest experience.

• Ensure all work areas are kept tidy, presentable, and free of hazards.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store hotel linens and terry.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Empty trash receptacles and replenish supplies as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
• Must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including the pool area.
• The role involves working in various areas of the hotel, including public spaces, guest rooms, and the pool area.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and outdoor weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
