Technology Coordinator
SUMMARY
The Technology Summer employee is responsible for all Information Technology maintenance for all buildings as assigned. This position requires an understanding or knowledge of such programs as Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Windows and Chrome. This position is required to perform highly responsible, and possibly confidential duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Update technology as needed including yearly maintenance
* Install, manage, configure and facilitate software use
* Install, configure, troubleshoot and repair computers
* Maintain software and hardware inventory lists
* Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
* Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience or training in Information Technology preferred.
* Language
Skills:
Ability to respond to help tickets, repair requests and general IT questions.
* Computer
Skills:
Basic working knowledge of Chromebooks and PC's
* Other
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to be precise in given tasks. Ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information. Ability to exercise good judgment and independent thinking. Ability to work independently.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is generally performed in an office requiring the frequent use of communication equipment and computers. This position also requires some travel around the District. Performing the job duties of this position requires the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, kneeling, and sitting. Must have the visual acuity and stamina to
work at a computer monitor throughout the day.
