Peskind Executive Search is representing a private equity–backed, mission-critical vertical SaaS company serving state and local government customers. The business is a market leader with ~$20M+ ARR, ~30% margins, and strong recurring revenue/retention
, positioned for its next phase of scale and value creation.
Seeking a hands‑on, commercially driven CEO to lead growth, professionalize operations, and scale a disciplined go‑to‑market engine. This leader will partner closely with the Board to drive ARR expansion, optimize pricing/packaging, and execute on strategic initiatives including product evolution and potential M&A.
What You Bring- Proven leadership of a vertical SaaS business (CEO/President/GM)
- Strong public sector GTM experience (state/local gov)
- Track record scaling $15M–$40M ARR businesses
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, pricing, and recurring revenue models
- Operator mindset—driving execution, accountability, and team performance
- Clear path to significant value creation (organic + M&A)
- Strong existing foundation with high retention and embedded growth levers
- Opportunity to lead a category‑defining platform through its next stage
