The Project Manager role is a critical part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing capital projects across Grand Teton Lodge Company properties. This role ensures all projects—ranging from small-scale improvements to multi-million-dollar developments—are properly scoped, compliant with National Park Service (NPS) requirements, and delivered on time and within budget. The position executes development and submission of required compliance documentation, managing approvals for work at historic and National Historic Landmark properties, and overseeing the contractor solicitation and management for projects.
By aligning project scoping with operational demands, this role ensures successful execution of concurrent projects across multiple locations while protecting the integrity of park resources and guest operations.

Manage end-to-end planning and execution of capital projects across the Grand Teton Lodge Company ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and operational timelines.
Ensure successful implementation of the terms required by the contract for all construction or facilities improvements, including CFIP, Component Renewal, Major Rehabilitation, Personal Property and Fixture Replacement projects.
Develop, coordinate, and submit National Park Service (NPS) compliance requests, ensuring projects meet regulatory requirements, particularly for National Historic Landmarks and historic properties.
Ensure all projects are delivered on schedule and within budget through proactive planning, resource management, risk mitigation, and continuous monitoring.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, engineering, and corporate partners) to define project scope, priorities, and sequencing aligned with seasonal operational constraints.
Coordinate construction and implementation activities to minimize disruption to guest experiences and business operations during peak seasons.
Manage capital project budgets totaling several million dollars annually, including forecasting, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial accountability.
Building collaborative relationships with NPS points of contact including concession specialist, project and facility management staff, cultural resources, vegetation, and other specialty teams as needed to ensure projects meet NPS requirements and standards.
Building strong relationships with local contractors and vendors to facilitate timely response and project success.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
At least three (3) years experience in design and implementation of construction projects.
(Preferred) Experience in managing historic and non-historic projects in a national park.
(Preferred) Experience in managing projects of $1 million or greater.
Familiarity working with contractors
Project Management Profession Certification (must be obtained by 12/2027)
