Your Opportunity as Distribution Coordinator

Reports To:
Distribution Supervisor
- Complete all shipment transactions into Blue Yonder in a timely manner.
- Use other associated programs as needed (IMI, Oracle, E2 Open, Google Docs).
- Respond to carrier requests for shipment tracking and/or tracing and communicate any delays to order originators.
- Compile data for management analysis on an as needed basis (audits).
- Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies via research in Blue Yonder.
- Maintain files for shipping and receiving daily.
- Prepare necessary backorder and/or other communications to internal and external customers on an as needed basis (order status, timing, etc.).
- May perform kitting, labeling, or other duties prior to shipping products, as necessary.
- Prepare necessary documents for shipping and receiving goods.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workloads.
- Initiative-taking and dependable; works well with others or individually on tasks.
- Other duties as defined by leadership.
- Demonstrate and promote a solution-based positive attitude in meeting goals and objectives.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained with an eye for detail.
- Promote and ensure a safe work environment.
- Ability to schedule shipments.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Deliver quality products and services through adherence to company standards and operating procedures.
- Must be able to stay on task, performing essential job duties, with an elevated level of accuracy.
- You must pass the forklift written test and driver test given by the company.
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment.
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company safety rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Previous experience and/or knowledge of Blue Yonder.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in basic English.
- Initiative-taker; ability to make sound decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems when making decisions.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with subordinates, all levels of management, and cross-functional teams.
The employee must have the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups to a maximum of 50 pounds.
Other Essential Elements Not Listed Above- Reading, writing, basic English communication, basic math skills, and fluency in Microsoft Office Suite.

All required tools and equipment will be supplied by the employer at no cost to the employee and must be kept on the premises.
