Design Engineer - Wyoming Area

Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

• Design and develop new products, components, and assemblies using CAD software.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for optimal product performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct design analysis, simulations, and prototyping to validate concepts and ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product realization.
• Identify and resolve design-related issues, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvements.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo) for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication) and material selection.
• Experience applying Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Ability to conduct design analysis, prototyping, and testing to validate designs.

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience
• Proficiency in advanced FEA and simulation software
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and validation
• Familiarity with diverse manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, welding, additive manufacturing)
