JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Wyoming, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems and products. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop practical engineering solutions, support project execution, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineeringora related field.

* 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing, ora related engineering field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as Solid Works, Inventor, or similar design tools.

* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.

* Experience with GD&T, engineering calculations, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

* Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Experience creating engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

* Experience with product development from concept through production.

* Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and engineering simulation tools.

* Knowledge of industry standards, quality systems, and safety regulations.

* Experience supporting prototype development, testing, validation, and design improvements.

* Familiarity with ERP systems and engineering change management processes.

* Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing, assembly, installation, or field service activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products to meet project and customer requirements.

* Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using CAD software.

* Perform engineering calculations and analyses tovalidatedesigns for performance, reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

* Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, operations, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.

* Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

* Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and internal quality procedures.

* Support troubleshooting and resolution of engineering issues during manufacturing, testing, installation, and operation.

* Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersregardingtechnical requirements and project progress.

* Assist with project planning, scheduling, and technical problem-solving activities.
