Salary Range: $90,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Wyoming that are seeking Advanced Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Leads Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implements corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for complex quality issues.
• Develops and refines Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and work instructions to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Utilizes advanced statistical methods for process control, capability analysis, and design of experiments (DOE) to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborates with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated into new product development (NPI) and existing processes.
• Conducts internal and external audits to assess compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality specifications.
• Mentors junior quality engineers and provides technical expertise on advanced quality tools and methodologies.
• Drives the implementation of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in core quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis).
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• Experience with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus).
• Knowledge of advanced metrology techniques and equipment.
• Experience with AI/ML applications in quality control.
