The position is located on the beautiful campus of Pine Rest Mental Health Services.

You will be responsible for setting up of the service area and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines, and following dietary restrictions based on Patients' needs.

Assists the Lead Server in the preparation and service of meals, meeting scheduled meal times, and following established policies and procedures within the dietary department to ensure patients receive the highest quality of service.

Responsible for assisting supervisor with food service using specific procedures, following guidelines, and regulations.

Responsible for delivering residents’ meal carts, and stocking patient units.

Knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Community rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

• 1 year food service preferred
• Fluent in English including reading, writing and speaking
• Ability to communicate clearly to all levels within the community
• Must be able to follow directions and follow through on assignments
• Ability to work with others as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Serv Safe is desirable

High school diploma or GED degree

• Positive attitude
• Willingness to learn
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Wage: $16.00 - $18.00
