Position: Sr Vice President for U.S. Operations - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Description

The Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations will bring extensive leadership experience across complex manufacturing and supply chain environments. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in successfully driving business transformation and operational excellence through culture change and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as leading post-acquisition site integration activities. This individual will demonstrate the ability to deliver results through cross-functional collaboration, strategic execution, and disciplined performance management while fostering a high-engagement, high-accountability culture.

The base salary for this position will fall into the $310k-$350k, depending on experience, plus bonus and employee benefits.

Job Duties Manufacturing Leadership
  • Inspire, develop, and lead a winning leadership team that is agile, innovative, and relentlessly focused on results.
  • Provide executive oversight of U.S. manufacturing sites, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
  • Identify and deploy best in class practices and systems in cGMP, quality systems, and operational excellence.
  • Develop an effective product life cycle program for activities such as product technology transfer, reformulation and material changes.
Supply Chain Management
  • Oversee supply chain operations, including production planning, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Build resilient, agile and redundant supply capabilities to minimize risk and maximize service reliability.
  • Together with Global procurement leadership, optimize inventory management, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery performance.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all U.S. operations meet or exceed FDA, DEA, OSHA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Quality leadership to maintain best-in‑class compliance performance and inspection readiness.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement, patient safety, and accountability.
Strategic Operations
  • Develop and implement long‑term strategies for U.S. manufacturing and supply chain to support company growth.
  • Drive digital transformation, automation, and advanced manufacturing initiatives.
  • Partner with global operations leaders to align U.S. strategy with corporate objectives.
  • Support Padagis's due diligence activities and lead post acquisition activities of US assets.
Financial & Operational Performance
  • Own U.S. operations P&L, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Deliver cost optimization and productivity improvements without compromising quality or compliance.
  • Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.
Leadership & Culture
  • Create a clear vision and strategic operational plan that aligns with the company's growth goals and lead the team in executing it with discipline and effectiveness.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing team across manufacturing, engineering, and operations.
  • Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and innovation.
  • Lead change management initiatives in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in pharmaceutical operations, with significant responsibility for manufacturing and supply chain.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Engineering/Operations/Supply Chain).
  • Deep expertise in cGMP, FDA regulations, and U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturing standards, with a strong track record of collaborating effectively with the FDA and other regulatory bodies.
  • Strong background in operations, multi‑site leadership, and continuous improvement and lean manufacturing culture.
  • Demonstrated understanding of logistics, procurement, and global sourcing.
  • Experience in aseptic sterile manufacturing.
  • Financial acumen with proven P&L ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS in Engineering/Operations, PhD, or Pharm

    D).
Qualifications

Expertise in cGMP, FDA, and U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturing standards (required). 15 years:
Pharmaceutical operations leadership, including manufacturing and supply chain (required).
