Weather Shield Roofing Systems is looking for a Controller who is ready to step into a high-impact leadership role within a fast-growing commercial roofing company. While this position reports under executive leadership, it is not a behind-the-scenes accounting role. The Controller plays a key role in supporting leadership through accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and insights that directly influence decision-making, performance, and operational success.

You will own the financial engine of the organization, ensuring the accounting "train" runs on time and on track while supporting smart business decisions.

• Lead all accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and job costing
• Own month-end and year-end close with precision and timeliness
• Deliver financial insights that guide executive decision-making
• Oversee Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting within a construction environment
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strengthen internal controls and safeguard company assets
• Partner closely with the CFO and leadership team
• Develop and mentor a strong accounting team

• CPA or CMA license Controller or Assistant Controller experience within construction or roofing
• Proven success scaling accounting processes in a growing company Strong leadership presence with the ability to translate financial data into business strategy

• Public accounting experience
• Supervisory leadership background
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting/Finance
