Position Summary
Ships, receives, slots chemical and beverage equipment, and equipment inventory to ensure that customer orders are shipped in a timely manner. Also rebuilds chemical and beverage equipment according to standards. Although this role assists with rebuilding equipment, it is mainly shipping/receiving duties, with only up to 20% technician work.
What You Will Do- Ships and receives chemical and beverage equipment to and from Inno Serv Sales Service Specialists.
- Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures.
- Boxes refurbished equipment and places into inventory.
- Receives new equipment from vendors, unpacks and examines incoming shipments and corresponds with Equipment and Parts Coordinator to rectify damages and shortages.
- Conducts accurate equipment inventory and cycle counts.
- Performs data entry of equipment in Metrix database.
- Rebuilds chemical and beverage equipment according to standards.
- Cleans, delimes and re-grains equipment to meet standards listed on the quality control sheet.
- Tests and diagnoses chemical and beverage equipment to validate proper performance.
- Provides function checks and polishing of equipment according to the quality control sheet.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to around 4:30 pm.

Inno Serv Service Center – 5385 Clay Ave SW, Wyoming, Michigan 49548.
- High school diploma/equivalent required.
- One year previous equipment repair experience.
- Powered industrial truck operator training and evaluation completed upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, self‑motivation, teamwork and good time‑management skills.
- Detail oriented and accurate.
- Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including frequent heavy lifting.
- Ability to adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency with proper lifting techniques.
- Capability to operate a forklift truck and pass the lift‑truck safety test every three years.
- Knowledge of Hi‑Lo equipment.
- Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, database, email and internet software applications.
