Company in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Powder Coating Technician.
Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm
Pay: $20/hr.
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Powder Coating Technician with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in powder coating applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating, and inspecting metal products to ensure high-quality finishes that meet industry standards. Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and clean surfaces for powder coating.
- Set up and operate powder coating equipment.
- Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently on metal parts.
- Inspect finished products for quality and uniformity.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and workspace.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Knowledge of powder coating equipment and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect work for quality.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and move parts as required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and production procedures.
