Shipper - 3rd Shift

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

3rd shift shipping:
Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm - 07:30am (shift times subject to change);
Friday night work possible $21.25 per hour, overtime after 40 hours/week Know how to complete forklift inspection form daily. Know how to complete product setting paperwork daily. Know how to report discrepancies on shipment quantities or descriptions. Know how to complete bills of lading for shipments. Know how to maintain proper product rotation. Be able to communicate effectively with truck drivers.

Be able to set orders prior to pick up date. Be able to accurately complete truck mapping during shipment. Be able to work in freezer temperatures. Know basic math skills. Know how to operate a forklift. Know basic Microsoft programs. Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety policies and procedures Report safety incidents to supervisor/management immediately. Report food safety concerns to supervisor/management immediately.

OTHER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist other departments as needed. Participate in plant audit and inspection preparation. Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Be able to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly, up to 50 pounds occasionally. Be able to push or pull up to 200 pounds on wheeled equipment. Be able to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, reaching. Be able to stand for majority of shift. Be able to read/write English. Be able to work in high ambient temperatures.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

Six (6) months food manufacturing experience preferred.
