Our Grand Rapids, MI machine shop is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Setup/Operator to join our team. We operate Doosan CNC mills and CNC lathes, utilizing MasterCAM for programming. Our shop specializes in prototypes to low-volume production, where every job is unique, requiring adaptability in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quick turnaround and high-quality output. Materials machined include plastic, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC mills (Doosan) to produce precision parts.
• Work from blueprints, CAD models, or verbal instructions to complete jobs from start to finish.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to tight tolerances.
• Collaborate in a dynamic environment to meet fast-paced production schedules.

Requirements:

• Experienced Candidates:
  Proven experience in CNC mill setup/operation; familiarity with Doosan mills and MasterCAM is a plus.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage jobs independently from setup to completion.
• Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment.
