Compensation- Starting Wages: $34.90-$47.40 per hour
- Wage Calculation is based on experience, shift, a $3.40/hr Michigan Direct Care Incentive, $2.00/hr Perfect Attendance Bonus and a $5.00/hr weekend warrior program.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) coordinates and provides nursing care for residents and provides supervision and guidance to clinical staff members.
Qualifications- Education: Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
- Licenses/Certification: Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed;
Valid CPR certification. - Experience: One year experience in nursing preferred.
- Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
- Implements physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
- Assigns nursing care to team members based on resident needs and capabilities.
- Supervises, directs, and evaluates junior staff and CNAs.
- Administers medications and treatments, documenting as required by regulations.
- Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
- Ensures supplies are used economically and equipment is kept clean and safe.
- Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
- Coordinates nursing care when therapy or procedures are scheduled by other departments.
- Interviews applicants and participates in counseling, disciplinary action, and staff termination as permitted by policy.
- Supervises nursing unit scheduling and staffing as permitted by state practice act.
- Maintains inventory and communicates needs for housekeeping, maintenance, or dietary assistance.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Ability to direct and motivate the workforce.
- Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
- Strong communication with residents and families at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
