American Traveler is seeking a CVOR RN with an active MI license, 2+ years of CVOR experience, and Epic proficiency for a teaching hospital assignment.
Requirements- Active MI RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (CNOR preferred)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience in CVOR, General OR, Hybrid OR, and Trauma settings required
- Orthopedic and Neurosurgery experience required
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- 1:1 patient ratio experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Prior gap-free work history documentation required for consideration
- CVOR unit within an acute care teaching hospital setting
- Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (5x8s also considered)
- On-call required 2-3 days per week
- Floating to the main OR as needed within scope of practice
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required
- Uses Epic EMR
- Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of cardiovascular, vascular, orthopedic, neurological, and general surgical procedures
- Level II Trauma teaching hospital environment
- Free parking provided on-site
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction
- RTO must be submitted at the time of profile submission
