Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for preserving the functionality, safety, and appearance of our facilities across various business locations. This hands‑on role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs involving electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, mechanical systems, and general building components. The Maintenance Technician works closely with operations and store leadership to ensure all locations remain operational, compliant, and welcoming for both staff and customers.
This position requires regular travel between sites and adaptability to evolving business needs.
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance across store and facility locations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain store fixtures, equipment, and building infrastructure.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Respond to service requests promptly and professionally.
- Follow and support preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
- Coordinate maintenance priorities with site leadership to minimize operational disruption.
- Assist with minor improvement projects, installations, and upgrades as directed.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure work complies with regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and materials used.
- Support facility needs as they evolve with business growth and operational expansion.
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in facility, equipment, or general maintenance
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and refrigeration systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various indoor/outdoor environments
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Trade certifications (ex: HVAC, electrical, or plumbing)
- Experience in multi‑site retail, grocery, or warehouse environments
