Electrician/ Electrician Installation, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
Performs as an Electrician installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing industrial equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.
Essential FunctionsResponsible for wiring panels, installing, wiring, inspecting, and testing electrical components and systems.
Builds and dismantles electrical machinery.
Replace faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems, troubleshoots if necessary.
Mounts motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specifications.
Runs cables, wires to engineering specifications.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Inspects completed work for conformance with requirements of local building and safety codes.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the department and business operations.
Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent
5+ years of work experience in the field
Vocational/Technical training in electrical procedures preferred
Journeyman Electrician preferred, but experience will be considered in lieu of
Must have own hand tools
Other Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesUnderstands and follows NFPA 70 (National Electric Code)
Compensation details: 29-33 Hourly Wage
