Waste Recovery Systems is looking to add a full time General Laborer to our team. This candidate will be continuously learning each day and is given the opportunity to excel within the company. A positive attitude and strong and safe work ethic are essential. A chauffeur's license and clean driving record is required for this position. Emergency jobs during non-regular work hours will be on a rotational basis.
Full time benefit eligible.

- Safely operate a variety of tools and equipment
- Ensure proper personal protective equipment is worn while performing work
- Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Prepare job sites as directed
- Maintain comprehensive service documentation
- Provide assistance to operators, team members, contractors and customers as needed
- Clean and clear debris and hazards
- Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
- Valid MI Chauffer’s License - Required
- Clean, insurable driving record for the last 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report)
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform occasionally in small and confined spaces
- Ability to work overtime
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Troubleshoot problems that arise
- Take part in on-call emergency rotation; required 1 week per month
- Prior experience in construction, environmental, and/or excavating preferred
- Ability to maintain service documentation daily
- Ability to apply common sense understanding
- Ability to carry out written and oral instructions
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Use an objective approach toward decision making
- Ability to maintain a good relationship between the company and customer
