Role SummaryReporting to the Supervisor, the Delivery Driver II is responsible for operating a delivery truck, hauling cargo between customer locations, and supporting warehouse operations when delivery time is not required.
Responsibilities- Drive product to various customer locations.
- Load and unload trucks according to established procedures.
- Complete daily shipping paperwork.
- Check assigned equipment for proper operation and communicate problems to the Delivery Supervisor.
- Accurately identify and count inventory in assigned areas.
- Learn and operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and hand trucks.
- Participate in ongoing general housekeeping of warehouse and delivery vehicles.
- Follow safe work habits and established safety procedures.
- Safely operate additional warehouse equipment.
- Attend meetings and training sessions.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned.

- 2 years of prior driving experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Driver’s License with CDL Class A License.
- Ability to pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a 1‑Year Card (paid for by The Kendall Group).
- Ability to use standard office and warehouse equipment, including computerized bar‑code scanners and printers.
- Basic math and reasoning skills.
- Excellent work ethic.
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.

- Ability to take direction from a Supervisor or Lead.
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to request assistance when needed, especially when lifting heavy objects.
- Frequent sitting, driving, and getting in and out of a vehicle.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours a day.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach, twist, and push.
- Ability to climb stairs and step ladders, bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel.
Exposure to temperature conditions prevalent at the time; noise level consistent with a driver and warehouse/distribution center.
Preferred ExperienceIndustrial wholesale distribution experience.
